11 days until Milton votes. Monday 26 October 2026. Everyone on the ballot, what each has filed, and what they say in their own words — see the ballot.
What each member of Council has put forward, from the published minutes. Ordered by ward, as the Town lists them — there is no ranking here, because no honest single measure of a councillor exists.
67 of the 68 council meetings held so far have been read (2022-12-12 to 2026-09-14). The Town has not yet published minutes for the meeting of 14 September 2026; nothing from it is on this site yet, and it is checked every night. Of those read, 4 have no minutes published by the Town, so they contribute nothing to the counts below. A further 13 have minutes carrying no numbered resolutions — Council Workshops, mostly — so they add nothing to the motion counts, though their attendance is recorded. Committee of Adjustment meetings are not included: that is a separate appointed body councillors do not sit on.
Two members represent each ward — a Town Councillor, who sits on Milton Council, and a Regional Councillor, who sits on both Milton Council and Halton Regional Council. Only Milton business is covered here, so for a Regional Councillor roughly half of the job is invisible on this site, and their figures should never be read against a Town Councillor's.

Mayor · served 2022-11-15 to 2026-11-14
Sits on both Milton Council and Halton Regional Council. Only Milton business is covered here, so roughly half of what they do is invisible on this site.
Of the 68 council meetings held while they were in office, they seconded 0 substantive motions. By convention the chair does not move motions, so there is no count of those. They put 1 item on the agenda themselves. 11 for and 7 against, across the 18 recorded votes they were present for.
This ward has had more than two members this term, because a seat changed hands. Each person's figures are counted only against the meetings held while they held the seat, so the numbers below are not comparable with one another.

They measure different things and are not interchangeable. A notice of motion is a member putting their own item on the agenda — the clearest signal of initiative. Moving a motion usually means sponsoring a staff report's recommendation onto the floor. Seconding puts a motion up for debate and is often a seat convention. Counts are substantive only.
Recorded votes are rare and unrepresentative. Individual positions exist for 18 of 637 resolutions — about 3% — because Ontario law records names only when a member asks. Members ask on the most contentious items, so this is a deliberately skewed sample and says nothing about the other 97%.
Every meeting of Council, Council Workshop and Special Council held this term. Committee of Adjustment is a separate appointed body councillors do not sit on, and is not included.
